- Scar is Simba's uncle and is Mufasa's brother. scar was supposedly going to be the next ruler of the Pride lands and Pride rock until he grew corrupt due to jealousy of Simba's heir to the thrown

- Simba is the son of Mufasa and the nephew of Scar, he is suppose to be the heir to the thrown in the Pride lands but his uncle killed his father and took control the banished Simba.
