         <description><![CDATA[<div>Start off the lesson with a warm up about what the class knows about Teddy Roosevelt. What have they heard, seen, or know about him. Enter into a class discussion about these topics, talk about who he was as a character and leader. Then discuss what we think the impact of such a president was. Assign a class project to each student to dive deeper into different aspects of President Roosevelt. Masculinity, character, Commander in Chief, Environmentalist, and Trust buster. Each group will discuss with their group the respective category and do further research in the topic. They should identify what category they are using and how that impacted Teddy Roosevelt as a person, a president, and how these impacted the country and foreign relations through Teddy Roosevelt’s thoughts and actions.  Each group should prepare a PowerPoint Presentation to show the class in three days time. Each member of the group will speak and contribute to the project. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>1c</strong></div><div>Students use technology to seek feedback that informs and improves their practice and to demonstrate their learning in a variety of ways.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>7b</strong></div><div>Students use collaborative technologies to work with others, including peers, experts or community members, to examine issues and problems from multiple viewpoints.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

I would also suggest a quick article or reading about TR before discussion so every student will know at least something about him and they can feel included in the conversation! You're off to a great start!&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
