So using these information can help me answer my inquiry question in a way that I can think of variety of patterns and logos that is related with my slogan, Accepting my differences with others.

Also, I am sure that I will be creating my own monogram pattern, since I knew that monogram pattern is the most trendy pattern that is used nowadays.

From here, I knew that keeping and not changing a brand theme can attract people to get more interested in that brand. Also, I learned that brands should not deliver the message of each expert in the team and should deliver their message as a whole or one voice, because the brand theme might get deteriorated. It is very interesting to see them making clothes that are familiar to us, while keeping the concept, “mysticism”, and I also want to make designs that are unique, but still aren’t crossing the line of ‘too much’.

Raf Simons: According to Raf Simons’s biography, it says that he was a creative director of the German label Jil Sander (2005–12), artistic director of the French fashion house Christian Dior (2012–15), and chief creative officer of the American brand Calvin Klein (2016–18). Because he wanted to make clothes that can describe himself the best, he made his own brand Raf Simons after then. In fact, he said, “I don't want to show clothes, I want to show my attitude, my past, present and future. I use memories and future visions and try to place them in today's world,” which shows his brand philosophy. So his designs are very artistic, dreamlike and unique. Some of his products are slightly crossing the line of ‘too much’, but still most of his designs are wearable, and familiar that most of the people can wear. I really was impressed by his brand philosophy, describing himself as one form of art, but that art can be enjoyed by many people in the world, not getting too profound. So from here, I learned that describing myself in the brand while including some real world messages can make my brand unique, and I think this can help me create a global response because this is how Raf Simons succeeds with his brand.

I chose to use this name because as I said before, I wanted to make a brand that can speak for me, and I thought my name is the best thing that represents myself, I decided to use J and P from my name Junhyeok Park, and Jayden Park. Based on my research that I did before, I decided to make my own monogram pattern using Alphabet, numbers and special symbols. Many other brands only use alphabets to create a monogram pattern, such as Burberry and Louis Vuitton. But because I want to create a unique pattern, but not too unique that people can accept and understand it, I decided to stay within the tray of monogram pattern, but kind of editing to it. And I think this is what the modern fashion trends are, copying and re-creating.

My audience: All of the people in the world, who are struggling because they think they are different with others. With my clothing, I want them to be healed and I want them to be able to accept differences with others like the designs of my clothes.

Firstly, I am going to include number 8 in my monogram pattern. I came up with this idea because I was born in 8/16, and 8 and 16 are both multiple of 8. So I feel like number 8 is like what connects me to the real world and I really think it is my lucky number. Also, 1 day before my birthday, 8/15 is korean independence day from Japan. before about 90 years ago, there were people who rebelled to the Japanese colonization and they risked their lives to save the country. In August, because there were people who accepted their differences with others and sacrificed themselves for the country, this makes me to love the number 8 more.

Secondly, I am going to use the flipped exclamation mark(!). Exclamation mark is used when people are shocked or surprised, and there is a meaning that I wanted to surprise people with my clothing, a young student can also make cool clothes like this. Also, in a society(or within my friends), I am the one who creates the mood of the group, and I thought that the exclamation mark represents myself well.
