O-I will share three benefits

Firstly, the transportation fee is not so high and is affordable and we won’t need to spend so much cash and we won’t need to buy a car as they are very expensive nowadays 

Secondly, there are different  types of transportation: taxis,buses, trains and cable cars. They are designed in alternative ways since their transportation is different from each other.

I agree that transportation systems have their own benefits as it can help the earth by reducing the amount of cars and carbon dioxide.

The three benefits are public transportation. Reduces air pollution and less fuels burned means better air quality for cities than public transit. It can also improve road congestion as no one likes to be stuck in traffic, but the rising populations demand improvement in road infrastructure that can be costly and take a lot of time.As it also support transportation equity which makes it accessible and affordable transportation for everyone in the community resulting in fair distribution of transportation resources, benefits, costs, programs and services based upon differences in income, ability and other factors affecting transportation choice and impact.

In conclusion, there are a lot of economic gains through a good transport system. I hope we Singaporeans can contribute to a healthier method by taking public transport.

First off, having a good and efficient transport system means that people can be on time to their destination at work or meeting up with your friends. 

With a good transport system that many people take everyday, it can be inexpensive to take a ride everyday instead of owning a car or using a ride-share app like Grab or GoJek.

Thirdly, having a transport system that is reliable and that does ot breakdown of often is good as the commuter can easily trust the system to take them to their destination without any delay.

In conclusion, having shared with you some benefits of a good transport system, I would like to recommend why you should be taking the transport system instead of owning or renting a car.

Firstly, what I think makes a good transport system is that the trains must be on time and more importantly, it’s cleanliness. SInce if trains arrive late, there will be major disruptions leading to people being late for school or work and

O - I will share why Singapore’s transport system is excellent

Firstly, Singapore’s transport system is considered one of the best transport systems in the world due to its transport efficiency, safety, convenience, sustainability, and last but not least, affordability. 

Secondly, The train lines in the transport system allows you to travel from one end of SIngapore to the other efficiently. Unlike the US where you can only change lines by taking the train downtown then switching to the line you need just to get to your station.

Thirdly, The trains usually arrive on time since the trains are driven automatically instead of manually which services can be centered entirely around passengers demands. Trains can run 24/7 since there isn’t a driver required to drive the trains.

In conclusion, having shared these points above shows that Singapore’s transport system is a good and reliable system. This explains why people usually take transport.

b) I think that these videos do not represent the majority of those who take public transport as through those videos, as they only represent themselves and their actions. How we should conduct ourselves is different for everyone as those that go out with friends would usually be more rowdy and those by themselves would usually not be as chaotic as those out with friends.

(b): My thoughts are that people should learn some manners when taking public transport due to the surroundings around them. When we are taking public transport, we should offer our seats to those in need and we should not be rowdy. We should let others before us. We should not bring a disgrace to our school image.

(b) From what I have personally seen from some videos, I have observed that these few people inadvertently did some acts that look like they are in gangs. While that may be true, this can cause you to be a bad influence to others and the school’s reputation may be looked down upon. While for those who intentionally behave badly in public, I think it is impetuous for them to do such things in public.

T- should we commute more on public transport?

O- I will share 3 reasons why.

From the video, taking public transport such as buses and trains is very common and convenient as it travels around the whole island of Singapore. As shown in the video, most/all of the public transports are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly to prevent the spread of the Omicron and Covid-19 virus. This then begs the question "what are the benefits of a good transport system?" I will now share three benefits. 

Firstly, young students around primary school and secondary schools take public transport either with their friends or family. This can help them feel more energetic in the morning as having someone to talk to would not be as boring as being alone on the bus or train where you may fall asleep easily.

Secondly, this may improve traffic congestion and save the environment from global warming. There would be fewer cars on the roads and streets. This makes the air cleaner and less traffic congestion. Especially people who would commute by car or bus, in this way we can have space on the roads for other people to commute the same way.

Thirdly, people from other countries such as Malaysia or Indonesia can enter Singapore with much ease when bringing their children to Singapore for better education. Moreover, traffic congestion will be rarely seen if people would use public transport. It is cheap and very accessible for them as they may not be as familiar with our transportation system.

I have shared 3 benefits of good transport system that recommend individuals to make an habit to take the transport instead of using their own vehicles.
