My cousin Cheryl and I were on our way to see the Grand Canyon when we saw a small park zoo on the side of the road. It was 14 dollars to get in for both of us, so we decided to take a little pit stop. It was a fun time, we got to feed the endangered birds, see the kangaroos, and even meet and touch a monkey! His name was Harambe. Harambe was a small brownish gold chimp that seemed pretty harmless, so Cheryl decided to let the chimp onto her head. With the instructors help and guide we put the nice little monkey onto Cheryl's shoulders, and it decided to cover her mouth! This was so delightful that I just had to take a picture. Then out of nowhere the 'delightful' little chimp went wild! Harambe took Cheryl by the ears, and tried to bite them off! She was so terrified that there was no way that she would go to a zoo again. If she survived. The instructor, carelessly wandering around heard our screams, and unfortunately had to shoot the chimp. R.I.P Harambe.

On a beautiful trip to Africa, a wild monkey jumped on my shoulders and was covering my mouth. I didn't know what to do so I just let it do what it wanted to do. It was actually quite friendly so I played with him for a couple minutes and I fed him also. It was getting dark and we had to go home, I didn't want to but I had to. My mom said we will come back tomorrow to play with the monkey.

The zoo has always been one of my favorite places to go. My mom never really liked it much as all the squawking birds always gave her a headache. My dad would usually just hang around the big cats while I was quite fond of the polar bears. My sisters has always had this thing for monkeys and everything always had to be monkey themed when she was younger. Being five years older I got to see the monkey obsession start up, then prevail, and then fade out. I kinda wish we had skipped our last visit to the zoo because this time my sister and I went to a different zoo and little did I know that at this one you could hold the monkeys. Once again the obsession starts up and once again everything is now monkey themed.

Today's trip to the zoo was not like any others. I had always loved the zoo but we never really had the money for it. Once we earned enough money for it, I was so excited. Once we had got there, I went to see my favorite animals first, the monkeys. Once I first saw them I knew they were not the same. Foam coming from the mouth, their nails longer than ever, I soon realized they were zombie monkeys! (dramatic music here).

Our family went to Africa for the summer. We did many new things and it was fun and all.But the party didn't start till we went on the safari. Animals have always interested me some of them are so similar to humans. Especially monkeys. Monkeys are my favorite, there always so joyful and happy.Through the forest we went on out bus,it was a bumpy ride but it was worth it.Through the tress I saw monkeys swaying jumping from tree to tree, eating bananas and other fruits. There was one monkey that seem odd.He kept starring at me like he was about to attack. As the bus drove through the forest the monkey followed and us.He then jumped onto our bus.I was scared at first but I could see in His eyes he was friendly. He came forwards me and hugged me! My parents were scared but I told them not to worry. This monkey was friend not and enemy.

It was a crisp fall Friday night, around 7:30 and I had just gotten out of work. I went down to Roger William's Park Zoo to meet up with some friends to see the jack'o'lantern spectacular. I was on my way to meet up at a kiosk near the north. On my walk there, I was stopped by a loud announcement. On a supposedly enjoyable night the man's voice rung with seriousness. "This is an emergency announcement. Rabid monkeys have escaped enclosure and are extremely violent! We instruct everyone to exit immediately for your own safety!" I was trying to leave as quickly as I could but to my luck, I was right near the monkey exhibit! Greattt..... At this point I was terrified, I bolted, trying to leave but the monkey swooped down and covered my mouth and hollered in my ear. The monkey knocked me out and I woke up by myself, in a dull, dark room, with no hope of escaping.

Sadly the women had told my sister and I that Abu has fallen sick to Yellow fever. When we landed in Portia Rico my sister and I had went strait to our papa's house and begged to go to the zoo to see Aria and Abu.

I stepped slowly through the dark, abandoned house. The paint was peeling off the walls, and the splintery oak floorboards creaked under my feet. We had ridden our bikes here and became interested in the creaky old house. But when the door slammed shut behind us, we knew something was wrong. I bent over to examine a red liquid on the ground, but as I did so, I heard a scream behind me. I hurriedly turned around, and the sight I saw would haunt me for the rest of my short life. My friend was being dragged backward by dark shapes in the shadows. One last scream was rendered from her mouth until one of the shapes leaped upon her head and clamped its hand upon her face. I could finally get one good look at our attackers, giant bloodthirsty baboons. That was the last thing I saw before jaws clamped around my neck, and I felt the life drain out of me. Now, I am doomed to haunt the halls of this abandoned house, in the form of an ape.

As I walked over to Monkey Town, the primate section of the zoo, I noticed the zookeepers were holding one of the monkeys and letting all the guests pet it. I walked over while my kids went to look at the gorillas. The monkey seemed very friendly so I petted it before I knew it, the monkey was climbing all over me. The guide had explained to us multiple times about how we can not interact with the gibbons, yet i would rather say this one interacted with me instead. I soon reached out my arm just enough to feel his hair-like fur and he immediately ran up my arm and huddled onto my head, I giggled slightly, but just loud enough for the guide to turn around and thankfully laugh rather than yell at me.

I was supposed to be funny and loving, so I jumped on her and started petting her like she did with me when I looked sick. I like playing with peoples hair too, it's like mine but there is a bunch of different kinds! I didn't know what was going on but I just wanted to make everything better. I made a funny face to try to cheer her up but it wasn't working. I also tried to cover her mouth so she wouldn't keep making that loud screeching noise. Soon after, she finally stopped crying and it made me happy. She finally put a smile on her face but for some reason never looked at the picture of the man on her wall.

I turn my head slightly and see a gorgeous dark tangerine blonde furred monkey starting to cling onto me. I move my hair slightly so the monkey can stand on my shoulder.
"I will name you tangy," I say opening my mouth wide showing off my pearly whites. Tangy starts feeling around my face and running his fingers through my hair. I ask Lillian, one of my friends, to take a quick picture so I can put it in my scrapbook. Right, when she took a picture tangy mouth opened really wide and he let out a cute little yawn. He kind of reminded me of a tangerine because of his fur.

Walking from exhibit to exhibit, we watch the captive animals go about their lives. We moved from tortoises that are over 100 years old to tigers eating their lunch. Finally, we came across the monkey exhibit, except there were worried zookeepers huddled around the gate. I pointed out a sign to my aunt which read, "Monkey exhibit is currently closed." I asked one of the zookeepers what was going on. He replied with, "One of the monkeys has escaped." I looked over to my oldest cousin, who's around the age of 9. Everyone knows her favorite animal is monkeys. She started crying, but then she stopped and started laughing instead. There was the escaped monkey, on her shoulder!

I was a beautiful day so I went to a zoo. While I was there a monkey jumped on me. I was so sacred that the monkey left me with a crack across my face. The keeper was later fired because see let the monkeys out. They could not find a new keeper so that exhibit closed and so the entire zoo closed.

I still was blown away that the raffle chose me. It was like a dream come true, this allows me to walk around one of the only zoos that allow all these animals to be around you. Peering around the the shinny silky tropical trees, all the smells of the exotic flowers around with the mysterious misty feel of the air. Then a sudden feel of hairs tickle the back of my neck, all that ran though my thoughts, what could this be? What is this feeling? It was all answered... with a hand of a monkey reaches across my mouth with all the same fuzzy hairs that are tickling my neck. My friend laughs as she takes a picture saying "I have to get this!".

I was walking down my neighborhood, and all I saw was darkness after walking down the street, greeting my neighbor Guillermo. I heard a weird noise, and it soon occurred to me it was a monkey. The monkey then grabbed onto my gum in my mouth, and grasped it with his hands. For some reason, there was a name tag on it, his name was Johnny. Johnny was Guillermo's pet, for some reason, and he was giggling when he saw Johnny grasp my gum in my mouth. For all of that freaking out about a random monkey, it was really my neighbors.

The zoo down the street was having a free admission so I decided to spend the day gazing at the interesting animals. While I was strolling, I decided to peel my banana and begin to eat. I passed the monkey exhibit that had a sign reading "Don't feed the monkeys." My idioticness got the best of me as I took no notice to the sign. To my surprise, a monkey jumped out of the exhibit, made me drop my banana, and proceeded to grab at my mouth to get the bits of banana for himself.

I take a deep breath in the fresh Brazilian air. I am the perfect depiction of a tourist, with my point-and-shoot camera hanging around my neck, my big sunglasses on the crown of my head, and my handmade earrings from a local shop. Suddenly, I'm overwhelmed with the impact of a strange object. I stumble forward a few steps before finally regaining my balance. My eyes frantically search the faces of all the people around me as they gasp and laugh while pulling out their own cameras. Before my hand could even reach my shoulder I felt something small and furry cover my mouth. I felt the urge to scream, but something told me I should just stay calm.

Also the lady looks surprised at the fact that the monkey is doing this to her. It also appears that the lady has some flashy multicolored earrings on and sunglasses. Finally the monkey has orange fur.
