The story follows a young Scout Finch in Maycomb, Alabama during the 1930s. When a black man is accused of the rape and assault of a white woman Atticus, Scout's father, is his appointed defense attorney. In a tough battle against racism, Atticus must try to prove his client's innocence.  This is a deeply moving book and shows the roots of human behavior.  It is called a coming of age fiction, southern gothic, and bildungsroman.]]> 2017-09-12 23:48:32 UTC https://padlet.com/deliag2024/1hu3egt3u6nl/wish/186998212 deliag2024 https://padlet.com/deliag2024/1hu3egt3u6nl/wish/187273057 Fairy tail is a fantasy book and it follows the story of a girl named Lucy.  It is a fantasy adventure book with magic and filled with action.  The story starts when Lucy meets a boy named Natsu and his cat Happy.  They rescue her and when they discover she wants to be a wizard they take her to the wizard guild Fairy Tail.  The story shows how the characters grow and the new challenges surface through-out the series.  Two wizards. He meets a girl named Fallon Little and they become great friends.  When he first meets her, he doesn't want to be her friend but after a while, they had a strong friendship.  After he gets into a fistfight with another child their friendship becomes weak and he has to win her back.  This is a short entertaining book that I enjoyed. While trying to learn more about the young girl's mother they live with the bee-keepers. Eventually, all the questions are answered and she learns more than she ever thought she would. It starts when the main character, Sam, goes to school to be abducted for unknown purposes. He is boarded onto a plane and meets to other people, Eva and Alex. After being told that Eva had dreamed what was happening the night for the plane is shot out of the sky. They are then rescued by people claiming to be protecting them. These new allies take them to a school with people like them, people that can dream the future. Once they learn more about their abilities they go on an adventure to find the Star of Egypt.
