With history, it gives information to people in this generation today about the important events that happened in past. History also serves as a guiding point in today’s generation because it helps us understand the successes of the past events, gains us perspective on current issues, and shows how ideas have evolved. </p></li><li><p>Primary sources are accurate materials from the time of the event happened. They are firsthand accounts that the evidences are involved or served as a witness from the event that happened in the past such as photos taken during the event, artifacts, official documents and record, and etc. On the other hand, Secondary sources are made “later on” by someone who did not directly experience the event and such sources includes books, articles, and biographies that is analyzed and interpreted by the writer from primary sources. With this, both primary sources and secondary sources provide information and help us understand past events and these types of sources are valuable in studying history.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
