All threw out the beginning of the book it talks about Eddie's life working on the peer and how he was a loving and kind soul. Specifically in this section of book it talks about how Eddie died at the end of the book by getting hit with a rollercoaster when it broke down. In his last moments he decided to save a little girl that was standing under the ride .This quote in the book talked about the very last seconds of his life and how he knew what his fate and he accepted it but still showed bravery and compassion.

Mikey Shea

in this scene in the book it is talking about how on his birthday he is not happy with the kid named Mikey Shea and how he was getting picked on at his own birthday party. Mikey was doing things like holding him upside down and shaking him punching and even kicking him. This all shows that he was bullied as a kid and that he did not have stable friends that are on his side. It also shows that his mom is his role model because as soon as this happens Eddie whent to his mom.

Flashback

in this part of the book it is talking about how he just died and now he was on arrival to heaven. in the book before he assends into heaven he has to meet 5 people from his life that he loved. whoever this was there happy place was the ruby peer that Eddie worked at. This quote shows Eddie reminiscing about his bast at the ruby peer and how he was happy when he whent there as a kid.This all shows that Eddie loved his childhood here and was happy to be there just like when he was just a kid.

Plot Twist

This part of the book introduced the first person that he had to meet in haven and he was known as the blue man. the blue man was fairly will known at the peer because he thought is was butifull and that is why they went there for the happy place. the quote was a shocker to most of the people reading the book because we find out that the reason that the blue man died was because of Eddie when he was a kid. the blue man shows that lesoon that everyone is connected in some sort of way and that he did not know it but Eddie was the reason why he was dead.

Bonded Like Brothers

In this part of the book it is talking alot about what happened in the war after Eddie got sent home because he got shot. the author decided to use a memory to show how when he was in war his platoon where like brothers. They had sutch a tight bond while they where at war . but than when everyone whent home after deployment they did not talk anymore. I think this is because it gave them bad tramas from the war and seeing each other make them feel uncomfortable.All in all this is a powerful scene in the book.

RIP Rabazzo

In this section of the book it is a bad memory from the war where everyone in his unit were taken prisner in a mine shaft. one of the people that was apart of his unit could not work because they had them doing so much work and he fell to the ground while working and the officers that took him prisoner started beating him. unfortunately he did not get up and they shot him in the head. later in the book they get out of the mine shaft by distracting the officers. all in all this is a sad memory that the author added into the book.

Burn It

In this part of the book it takes place right after the part where everyone in Eddie's unit was taken prisoner in the mineshaft and they killed Rabazzo. This scene take place right after all of this and it is after they escaped the mine shaft and they saw t shed with a lot of weapons inside of them so they used the wepns that where avalivle to try to burn down the mine shaft and anyone in there which is why I said that this got dark. All in all this whole chapter with his memory's makes me more thankfully for our vets.

Good Friends

In this section of the book it is right after the part where Eddie sees a shadow inside of a burning building and was about to go in and die. but then the captin of the unit mand a decion and shot him in the leg so he did not get himself killed. after this they where forced to walk for 2 days across a field of landmines. witch later in the book the capin wounds up dieing to. All in all Eddie had a good group of friends that where by his side to help him through anything.

In this par tof the book it talks about his relationship whith his dad before they stoped talking to each other and how he was not the best father when he would neglect him as a child and not talk to him or hold him when he was younger and eddie was rekindleing all of that. this is because I tchink that the third person is just his dad and he found out where he was for all of theoes years and he finaly hets to talk to his father once more.

Fire

In this section of the book he briefly talks about this really big fire that happened at the ruby pier and how it almost burt it all down but Eddie's dad helped save it. The story goes like the workers where cooking dinner over a barrel fire but then they saw fireworks so they decided to light them off but they almost burned down the entire pier.all in all this shows that his dad was a hero too just like Eddie was to that little girl at the fair.

Setting

In this part of the book it is talking about a very descriptive setting that I can assume to be his dads house that was in the middle of the snowy spiked mountains. This shows that Eddie's dad drove himself away and decided to live in an location away from everyone else. All in all this shows that his dad knew what he did he just could not bring himself to say anything about it.

last dance

In this part of the book Eddie and his dad are not just walking but they are fighting. like phisicly fighting. This is a really big part of the book because eit was the last time that they have talked ever. they never talked to each other again because ehit dad tryed to hit him and Eddie defended itself itch he has never done before. All in all I think that this is a very very imprortant scean in the book.

Everyone Meets in Heaven

In this part of the book Eddie is talking to the 4th person that he met in heaven and that was his wife that passed away a little while back and they are having a conversation about how he is talking to the five people in his hevan. he now finds out that this happens to everyone who dies so even margrate met 5 people in heaven. this is a little bit of a sigh of relief because Eddie ost likely did not what to be the only one that has gone through this. all in all I thought that this was a big development in the story.

In this part of the book it is at the very very end where they are talking about everyone kind of moved on in life after Eddie died. obviously people cared for him after he died and all of that but the peir when on like nothing happened and was busy like usual all across the summer. not many people seem to know about Eddie or even care but the real people that knew him know that he was a good man with an even better hart. all in all I liked the end of the book because it taught you some gool lessons along the way.

Family

I like this section of the book where Eddie and margrate are just talking . One thing that stood out to me was that they wanted to adopt a child so they could be parents and start a family. This shows that if Margret did not get cancer and die they where planing to start a family and move. This would have been good for Eddie because he said that he feels stuck in the town that he is. All in all I think that this is there dreams that they would have done.

True Love

In this section of the book it was just a lot of talking. it was just Eddie and Margret talking back and forth bout how much each of them missed each other you can tell that they used to be husband and wife because they sounded like that could just talk to each other for the rest of there lieves. All in all I just think that this is very important because it shows how in live they where and how they need to reconnect.
