Getting official consent from the interviewee, and making them aware that it will be on record, unless asked otherwise by the interviewee.<br>The preparation for conducting the interview beforehand. Where to meet, the questions.<br>A strict agenda when conducting the interview. The researcher is in control and not be shadowed by the interviewee.<br>2. Detailed preparation.<br>Deciding what type of interview to conduct: structured, semi - structured and unstructured.<br>3. Con: The interviewee may mislead the interviewer.&nbsp;<br>The topic may be a sensitive and the interviewee may find it intrusive.&nbsp;<br>Pro: The interviewee may give in depth answers, which will be more beneficial than closed questions and a structured interview.<br>A rapport can be built between the interviewer and interviewee.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Research interviews you would need to gain written consent whereas in a journalist interview you wouldn't need to.<br>2. Journalist interviews are more likely to be less formal that research interviews<br>3. Research is more about collecting data than writing a story<br>4. Research interviews take more time than journalist interviews.&nbsp;<br>5. Journalists may have a certain agenda or bias whereas research has to be objective.<br>6.
