We started our week by discussing how to name inorganic compounds. And the week lasted with naming cations and anions. It made me learn how to or when to use -ide, -ite and -ate in naming anions.

We discussed ionic compounds and how to name it and how to use crisscross method to write the formula of an ionic compound. CATION + ANION = IONIC COMPOUND

We named acids and bases and learned binary molecular compounds. Hardest lessons to keep in mind and memorize . A lot of rules and exceptions.🥲

Discussed types of chemical reaction by using relationships of people to make it easier for us to understand. It really made it easier to understand ☺️. And discussed stoichiometry a little bit (introduction).

Week 6

Continued the topic stoichiometry with a looootttt of solving on how to interconvert masses, moles and number of entities and relating it to the ingredients of sustenances. Hard at first but if you keep on solving it will become easier. And the week of chem LQ1. My learnings vanished when I was taking the long test☺️☺️.

We practiced solving stoichiometry to prepare for our long test 2. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT but we are not perfect.
