I write comments on the classwork, and that also helps me remember why I gave them the grade they received.  Because they have the ability to  correct and resubmit their assignments.  

One thing I was having an issues with is keeping my club informed of up coming events and deadlines. This meeting jogged my memory to incorporate the calendar, and have parents join.

I never used the grading feature before, but it seems simple and it would be valuable to leave a student a grade and a comment as soon as it is reviewed.
