-Important to be aware that we are part of a bigger whole, to be community minded.  An example is to look outside my own classroom and realize that we and our students are part of a bigger whole.  An example of this could be honoring a wide range of contributions and involvements (not just achievements) on a school or district-wide level (announcements, twitter).
-Reframing and embracing failure; encouraging risk-taking, taking a chance, stepping outside of comfort zone in order to learn and grow.
