 I'd prefer to live in a city as the amenities available are more diverse than in the countryside.
I'd prefer a medium sized city not too big that traffic is horrible and not too small that it feels like you live in the countryside.
 I'd prefer to be by the ocean or at least within driving distance of it as I really enjoy being near the water and watching the waves crash onshore.
