In Pandora's Box (the longer one), It said that Venus gave Pandora beauty. In Pandora's Box (the one we read today), it said That Aphrodite gave Pandora beauty. The difference between these two is that Venus is Roman, while Aphrodite is Greek. Another difference is, in in the longer story, when Pandora opened the box, monsters and demons came out of the box. In the story we read today, it said plagues and diseases came out of the box. One more difference is that in "Here Comes Trouble", Epi (Pandora's brother) is the one who opens the box, opposed to Pandora opening the box in the two other stories.

the main difference is that in the longer one Pandora is the person who opens the box. in the shorter one its Epi, Pandora's younger brother, he opens the box. second the person who told Pandora not to open it was an old man. In the longer one it was Zeus. Also in the shorter one the box came down from the sky. In the longer one the box is given as a wedding gift from Zeus. In the shorter one the troubles and horrors of the world don't beg to be let out however in the longer one the troubles plead and beg to be let out.

In "Here Comes Trouble", Pandora tells her brother, Epi, not to open the box, but he doesn't listen. In "In the Beginning and Pandora's Box", Pandora is the one who opens the box, which her husband, Epimetheus told her not to. In "Here Comes Trouble" an old man in a dream tells Pandora not to open the box. In "In the Beginning and Pandora's Box", Zeus, in real life, tells Epimetheus and Pandora not to open the box.

In Here Comes Trouble, Pandora was just a regular girl who was playing with her brother, Epi. Epi was the one who opened the box, and when he did, little stinging creatures flew out of the box. In the longer story, Pandora's Box, it explains that Pandora was created by the Gods, as a trick to the God living on Earth, Epimetheus. In the first story, Pandora wasn't an adult. When I read the story I figured she was a kid. But in Pandora's Box, she must've been a woman because she immediately married Epimetheus. Also, in Here Comes Trouble, there were no Gods mentioned whereas the longer story had Gods as characters with very important roles.

In "Here Comes Trouble", Pandora and Epi are siblings, and Pandora warns Epi not to open the box. He opens it anyways, but in this version the unhappiness didn't beg to come out, and they didn't introduce themselves. In "Pandora's Box", it went through how Pandora came to be and why the box was created. Pandora and Epi weren't siblings in this version, though, and Pandora is the one who opens the box. Almost opposite stories, if you think about it.
