Beyonce Knowles was born to Matthew and Tina Knowles on Sept. 4, 1981. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Over the span of a nearly 3-decade career, Beyonce has built a name for herself in almost area there is. She is a singer, a songwriter, a performer, an actress, a model, a mother and wife, and last but not least, a business owner.

After dominating the music industry, Beyonce ventured into the business side of things by founding her own management company, named Parkwood Entertainment. She has names like Halle and Chloe Bailey under her management, as well as being managed by them herself. After that business venture, she went on to release an athletic leisurewear brand titled "Ivy Park". As well as her newest business move, a hair care line named "Cecred".

Her hair care line is fairly new. It released this year actually, as a dual announcement with her newest album. However, regardless of the timespan her brand has been alive, she has received nothing but praise for her brand. The biggest standout about her brand compared to other hair care brands by big names is the fact that she is inclusive to everyone. Her hair care products are made for all types of hair, even the unhealthiest type of hair there is. Her mother, Tina, being a retired hairdresser has definitely helped Beyonce in this area.

While she was lucky enough to be born to millionaires, no amount of money could protect a young black woman trying to make a name for herself. Being called "slow" and "idiotic" for speaking with her country accent in earlier years had caused her to shut down and only speak when necessary. She also got called a sell-out when her country twang seemingly died down as she grew older. However, that was only her way of coping with being bullied over the years while she was still young for speaking with an accent.

Being black and a woman led to many bigots attacking not only Beyonce, but her first child, Blue Ivy. She faced racist backlash at the Country Music Awards in 2016 after performing a song off of her newest album at the time. And for the first 5 years of Blue Ivy's life, she was met with racism and criticism even though she was an innocent child. Beyonce then closed off all access to her life to make sure that Blue wouldn't have to deal with that anymore and that her twins wouldn't ever have to experience what their older sister did.

Beyonce is a loving mother and a dedicated wife. She started dating rapper and business mogul Shawn Carter, A.K.A Jay-Z, in 2001 and they married in 2008. Her marriage to Jay-Z hasn't been perfect the whole time. Her self-titled album, and her album titled "Lemonade" serves as tales of the trials and tribulations that their marriage has dealt with. However, they have managed to work out their issues and create a beautiful family. The couple had their first beautiful child, Blue Ivy, in 2012 in New York. The twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, were born in 2017. And now they're a blossoming unit in 2024, with each one having an album and/or song dedicated to them by Beyonce in her discography.

Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, was a hairdresser and salon owner. She always kept good care of Beyonce's natural hair and even pushed her to look into what worked for her own hair at a young age. Beyonce grew up surrounded by people who loved and worked with hair all their lives. Her mother's love for hair was passed down to her, and because of that, the seed of Cecred was planted and blossomed into what it is now.

She started off as a powerful entity, but her collaboration with her husband, Jay-Z seemingly gave her a boost in confidence and business making skills. Not to mention her business savvy father helping her out along the way. Her determination and lioness energy has solidified her as a business mogul. She has proved that she is one of the biggest names out there. She's not just a singer. She's not just a wife and mother. She's not just an entrepreneur. She is Beyonce, and that name will never be forgotten.
