         <description><![CDATA[<p>Three things I learned:</p><ol><li><p>Using a visual identity (web, wheel, etc.) with images vs. writing (only writing) would be a great idea to help all students feel connected to the classroom community.</p></li><li><p>Identity is a crucial part of a child's education.</p></li><li><p>Teachers and students can use storytelling to connect with each other. </p><p><br/></p></li></ol><p>Two things I want to learn about:</p><ol><li><p>I would like to learn more about how to do some of this work well with families while respecting their cultures and preferences on how much they participate.</p></li><li><p>I want to know how to best storytell in my classroom for student engagement, connection, and learning.</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p>One question I have:</p><ol><li><p>How best to help students feel comfortable enough in the classroom to share their true selves. Many students who feel like outsiders may not share honestly which can create a personal barrier between them and their learning.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
