 In OCJS, their statistics show that most offences are committed by young people, showing that their question got the exact data that was needed.  If they asked about different crimes they may have found them to be less criminal. #imposition problem

Because the survey uses face-face interviews people feel more comfortable and give more truthful answers and allows people to talk about there experiences with crime

Face to Face interviewes about crime.. as this is a sensitive topic, people are more likely to lie as it is not anonymous. Therefore this will be invalid data.

This is a strength because there will be a higher response rate as these options fit the needs of people who may have disabilities and also allows respondents to not be influenced by the researcher

The imposition problem may occur as not all crimes are in the survey.  Therefore crimes without an obvious victim will not be covered. There is no obvious victim from drug dealing and for white collar crimes the victim not realize they have experienced a crime.  The data is only as good as the questions asked.
