The colors that i am inspired by are quiet dull for the background, but i like titles and text that stand out. The indie-pop type of posters, they tend to be very eye-catching and use bright colours for the text or image. I really like this image below because it stands out and looks attractive. I can use this inspiration (colors) and apply it to my own magazine.

This poster attracted me because it used bright colors on a dark background, so it was very eye-catching. It also has a quiet detailed image which may interest people.

I quiet like this font because is is bold, which makes it stand out. I also like the design of it because it seems like an appropriate font to use for my magazine genre.

This font is quiet similar to my first choice. I like this font again, because it will fit in with my genre, and it will make a magazine stand out. i would maybe have this font in white, and then have a darker background.

language - Inspiration

As you can see, the type of language used in the Q magazine is formal. I think it is easier for adults to read and understand, and may not be totable for younger teenagers as they won't be able to understand the text. It is also formal language which is suitable for pop - indie fans. I would like to apply this to my magazine because i want the readers to understand what the articles are about, and the genre have chosen will relate to this type of language because the pop - indie fans will be able to enjoy thee magazine.

This is an article taken from the Billboard magazine. I think this shows that it will be easier for adults to understand and read as it has quiet a bit of writing.

I get inspiration from social media such as twitter because artists related to pop - indie can post their thoughts and it can give me some inspiration on what article i can create. on twitter you also see any announcments that an artist might have, so it is a way for the fans to communicate with the fans.

I chose this front cover an part of my inspiration because it applies to the genre i have chosen, also i like the colors used because the title and writing really stands out. I want my front cover to have this type of layout because it relates to my genre. The use of the image is also good because it is eye-catching. This particular magazine cover makes the artist stand out, this might have something to do with the main article inside of the magazine, and it will interest people who have an interest in that artist (Ed Sheeran). I like the way the title goes down the side because it is unique and individual. The indie-pop fashion is quiet casual and comfy. But it is in with the 'trend'. In my magazine, the images i use will probablys include some pictures related to fashion. I will take into consideration the style of my genre when i take photos of my model.
