The Eagles, surprisingly, became one of the bands that I kept listening to after we finished learning about them in class. I did not see myself as being someone who is into country rock, but yeah I really liked watching the documentary videos on the Eagles and listening to their music.

Some of the songs I like are:

"Long Run"

"Witchy Woman"

"Take it To The Limit"

"Lyin' Eyes"

"The Best Of My Love"

One thing that I like about the Eagles is that they sort of (I don't know for sure) created their own genre

Bernie Leadon was known for his country music (bluegrass, country) background

Glenn Frey wanted to move towards a more of a rock band

There later was a compromise between country and rock and the Eagles became successful because of this compromise

Don Henley was a multi-talented musician

played guitar, drums, and sang

Glenn Frey said that he does not sing in most of the songs anymore because they have Don Henley
