         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.) With the help of his wife, Theodora, he pushed to reclaim land from the West. His expansion reached to Macedonia and halfway through modern day Libya. This helped out in Justinian's culture and society by giving them more room to expand and have more and more people come to join his state.<br><br>2.) Rebuilt Constantinople as well as help preserve Roman culture in the Eastern portion of the Empire. Not only did this help rebuild Constantinople, but it also helped preserve Roman culture in the eastern portion of the Roman Empire.<br><br>3.) His part in Hagia Sophia.
