Investigate influences from Hispanic cultures in your community, then provide three different examples (Taco Bell doesn't count). It can be authentic food, culture, holidays, celebrations, art, or anything else that demonstrates an example of Hispanic influences.
 
 Part 1:
After completing your research, you will create a powerpoint. Once you have completed your powerpoint, you will download your work on https://padlet.com/rshoemaker8/Spanish3honors
 
In your powerpoint, answer the following questions in Spanish for each Hispanic influences:
  • How did the influence come to your country? (Slide 1)
  • What positive impact has the influence had on your community? (Slide 2)
  • How does it compare to your own culture perspective? (Slide 3)
  • How is it different? (Slide 4)
Use pictures, and/or videos (3 minutes or less).

Part 2: 
Be sure to include a slide (Slide 5) with the following:
  • Tell about your personal experience. (Use the preterit, present perfect and/or imperfect tenses).
  • Make sure to include at least one comparison. (Compares or superlative.)
  • Give at least two suggestions on what people can do. (Use the commands, tenet questions or defer). 
Remember to answer in 3-5 complete sentences in Spanish. 

 Part 3: Exchange Questions
In the comments section of your classmates post you will exchange questions. You should prepare three original questions to ask. Perhaps you want to know more about what they enjoyed doing the most or what they want to do again?
 
 Submit Evidence and Self-Reflection on Colaboración del segment uno
 Evidence of the collaboration is required so please include a screen shots of your powerpoint and your questions that you asked your classmates on Padlet.
 
 You will also need to answer all of the questions that were posted on your own presentation in Spanish with complete sentences in a word document.
 
 Self-Reflection
Respond to the following questions with at least three sentences for each in word document.

  1. What did you enjoy most about this collaboration project?
  2. What will you do differently, if anything, in your next collaboration opportunity?

 Deadline:
Your powerpoint, your questions, Evidence and Self-Reflection will be due any time before you complete Segment One Exam. 
 
Show off your creativity! You can add videos (no more than 3 minutes) and pictures in your power point. I can’t wait to see what you all create!
