I consider the use of technology as a valuable learning tool in the classroom. The use of technology is a fantastic way to reach diversity in learning styles, and thus creating and encouraging collaboration amongst the interaction between classmates. In the real world, technology plays one of the most important roles and therefore the use of technology in the classroom will help to prepare students for their future careers and help them to become tech savvy. Through the use of technology in the classroom, students are able to stay engaged and contribute to making the lessons more fun and exciting. Technology helps to create independence and responsibility in the classroom, because students become in control of their learning. Technology has the ability to save money over time because learners are able to get their textbooks in digital format at a fraction of the price of hardcover textbooks. This can save spce in the classroom, reduce carbon footprint and will provide students with more updated information in a creative, helpful and more valid way.
