Yes, if I were in this situation I wouldn't see what was going on until somebody else is. I just think that most people are afraid of doing something when somebody else isn't doing it first. So yes I do think this theory is true.
I think this theory doesn't support this idea, they knew they were hurting her but they never helped.

Critique the story by deciding whether or not the message is clear. Did you understand what lesson she wanted the audience to learn? Why or why not?

The story was extremely clear in my opinion, it shows examples and tells you the dangers. I understood what she wanted us to learn from the lesson because she was trying to tell us about violence and it's unsettling.

Write a theme for the story "Cheboygan Day." This should be a complete sentence. Explain why you believe this is a theme.

Cheboygan Day was to show how much conformity can change people, they don't help until someone else does. I believe this is a theme because it shows why and how the story is, and why it's important, why it matters.

I think there are mysteries and it'll be adventurous.

The tone that conveys is that it'll be mysterious.
