         <description><![CDATA[<div>1800s- <strong>Margaret Bulkley</strong> masqueraded as a male doctor “Dr. James Barry” for 46 years. In theory medical practice is now open to all. Entry into medical courses is competitive, and can be expensive. Some specialities, such as <a href="http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/broughttolife/themes/surgery">surgery</a>, continue to be dominated by male practitioners” (Science Museum Brought to Life, n.d.).<br><br>It is unfortunate that women were only first accepted into the medical field in order to save soldiers.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video is a great representation on how important it is for woman in developing countries to receive medicine to prevent childbirth and receive medicine during and after child birth. In just the short time of the video, it lays the facts on how many millions of woman want to avoid pregnancy but cannot because of the lack of contraceptive’s woman have access too. It also explains the current death rate of woman in developing countries due to the lack of access for medicine and compares it to the number of woman that would survive if they had access to proper contraceptives, pain medications, antibiotics etc. </div>]]></description>
