One of the things we have in common (with some of you) is a passion for reading. That is why I recommend you spend some time with your books. This is a list of my all-time favourites
1. Any novel by Nicholas Sparks: A walk to remember, The notebook, ... classic romantic novels. I can't help it, I'm a fan.
2. Another genre that I enjoy a lot is crime novels. One recommendation for you that I think you might like a lot is "The chemistry of Death" by Simon Beckett. Most of you are into science and I think you can enjoy this novel.
3. Another novel which I think you might enjoy is called Flowers for Algernon. It's very short and easy to read and the story is a bit heartbreaking. It is about Algernon, who wants to be smarter. Also interesting for those who are into medicine and psychology.
If you have an ebook I can share with you some epub books, just write an email to me :)

Another activity that you can do to kill the time and practice your English is to watch series (English and English subtitles if you need them). For those who want to take the First or the Advanced, I recommend you to get used to British accents. So, my recommendations are British-oriented series:
- Black Mirror (obviously!)
- Sherlock (don't get frustrated, he speaks way too fast, but you'll get used to him)
- The Queen. I absolutely loved seasons 1 and 2. I die for their accent!

If you are not into books, you can read newspaper articles (try to find a Corona-free one). Newspaper articles will help you in the reading part for First Certificate and Selectivitat next year. So, take some time to scroll the news and summarize an interesting article on your diary.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk
https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs/the_papers
https://www.nytimes.com/
