If a child was to see a couple in line at Walmart getting too sexually intimate the child may later try to copy the couple's activities with another child. This is a situation no parents wants and can be avoided by shielding that type of activity from children.

It's a very fast paced, diversity city. Many of my friends transfer to up north universities because they wanted to experience college lifestyle. Majority of people that were born in Miami see the sorority lifestyle as people with "odd" behaviors and activities. Although, if you travel up north, joining a frat or sorority is typically normal. For example, in Orlando, surrounding yourself with your frat brothers and sorority sisters helps you networking and may even be considered more popular.

In fact, it is so normalized that teachers and principals in the Caribbean spank children in school. Neighbors who spot children being naughty in the streets often times will spank your child because it is accepted that it takes a village to raise a child. 

In America, spanking or beating is considered child abuse and parents/adults can and will be arrested. Children will also be removed from the home also and placed into foster care. Children are encouraged to call the police if parents yell or hit their children.
