UDL is a set of principles for designing curriculum that provides all individuals with equal opportunities to learn. UDL is designed to serve all learners, regardless of ability, disability, age, gender, or cultural and linguistic background!
Examples of this are allowing students to:
-Get written copies of the classroom transcripts.
-Allow students to work on assignments in multiple ways depending on their abilities!
-Students having the ability to get material in audio or text form.
-Letting students work in groups so that they can help teach other!
-Communicating to students so that they know what is going on in the classroom and why the changes are being made in their schedule or work.

Using UDL in the classroom will provide every student with the resources that they need to be successful. In a general education classroom, there are many ways that teachers can incorporate this into their classroom. Some of these ideas are: offering students numerous to get assignments done, creating multiple, different environments for students to complete work, offering posted lesson goals and plans for students, offering both text and audio lessons and communicating goals and work with students.
