Belle loves to read, and I love reading too! I always get lost in a book, or just have my own adventures in them, just like her. She gets judged for liking to read, people judge me for reading all the time. The Bible says not to judge others, or you will be judged (Matthew 7).

Belle vs. Beast (External Conflict)

Belle had so much hatred on the Beast when he captured her helpless father, Maurice. Now that Belle has to live with the Beast, she has opened up to him a lot more. She has taught him brand new things a prince has never done, especially as a hairy monster. She taught him to control his temper, serve others, and even cook for himself.

The main lesson I learned was to not judge a book by it's cover. Judging people, but not truly knowing them, can lead to huge mistakes. Belle judged the Beast for capturing her father, but the Beast only did it to protect his roses. Belle later understood the Beast, and they became closer. She later realized why he captured her father, because of the rose. If the last petal dropped, he would stay a beast forever.

Belle had internal conflict with fear. She let fear overtake her when her father got captured. When she traded her future for her dad, she didn't know what was going to happen. She locked her door in her room, and just sat in sadness and fear. Belle soon decided to explore the West Wing of the castle, where the Beast stays, and she figured out he was hiding a single rose. The Beast soon scared her, which lead her to leave the castle and go back to her father.

Belle desired to have an adventure outside of her book. However, the adventure found her when her dad got captured at this old castle. She went to go to the mysterious, webbed castle where she found her dad. Belle had to make a drastic decision to sacrifice herself for her father. So, she had to live with the Beast, and get used to his uncontrolled temper. Eventually, she taught him to cook, control his temper, and how to serve others. As they dig deeper into their past, they realize there's an asylum with enchantresses and family friends in there. Finally, they free everyone from the asylum, and kill whoever was holding them hostage.
