Hi, I'm Dash and I have excitedly started to do my PYPX project. For the past week I came up with my idea which is how trees speak to each other and wrote lots of questions about my topic so I could shape my inquiry. I feel like I'm going really well even though I missed a day this week and I am really looking forward to researching my information!

This week I have started to research some of my questions which is great, I also have made my central idea, which is communication can change behaver and affect survival. I have started finding people I could email, and I feel like I am going really well and I'm excited to start researching and emailing an expert!

This week I emailed an expert, started to research some of my questions and emailed my mentor. At the start of this week I emailed an expert, called Camille Defrenne, and started to research on my topic. On Thursday I wrote a email to my mentor to thank her for being my mentor. I feel like I am going fine and I am excited to keep researching!

Week 6 Reflection

I haven't really done much this week because I have been in New Zealand on a holiday. I am a bit behind, so I am going to do a bit of homework on to catch up. When I got back from New Zealand I did some researching and learnt that Mother Trees are the biggest trees in the forest. I Want to answer all my questions soon. So far, I feel like I am going fine, but I need to do a bit of caching up.

Today is Tuesday and now I am thinking about how present my project! I have just finished answering my questions, so I now have a less stressful week ahead of me. I feel like I am going great!

Week 7 Reflection

Although I had been a little behind I have caught up a bit because I have Finished my questions, brainstormed how to present my info and started making my video. I started off finishing writing my questions which had taken a while to do because I had so many. I was so happy once I finished because it meant I could brainstorm lots of ideas to present. I ended up choosing to do a video which I am really excited to do. I think this week was great because I have achieved a lot and I am really excited to present my work!

Final Reflection

After a long term of brainstorming, researching, and planning, I finally shared my project to the world! I think I did really well learning how to use CapCut better when making my video and designing my cork boards. I have learnt that using a checklist keeps me to stay on task and asking for feedback helps me. When working on a research project in the future I would need to look for more information and take more notes. My favourite part of Exhibition was sharing because I got to meet so many different people and talk to them about what I did. I am really proud of my cork boards because it was really good, and I think it showed my exhibition really well.
