Presumptive Test: Type A blood matches Newgard (Victim); and two suspects Kaylitrell and Jenn. Type A blood was found on the bat and the blood on the ground at the scene. leading to the conclusion it is most possibly Marcel Newgard's blood.

Marcel Newgards DNA mostly resembles DNA found in the blood spatter on the floor, on the bat, and on the chewing gum. DNA resembles Marcel's.

Hair Evidence

The hair at the scene matches Marcel's when microscopically examining the medulla that is in brown streaks and the cortex appears similar. Cuticles are similar in width and color.

Toxicology

Newgard's report examines 65 mg of caffiene, 20 mg of acetaminophen. This drugs are legal and over the counter. Caffiene is a common relatively unharmful stimulant in low doses. A cup of coffee contains around 80 mg. Tylenol is acetaminophen, a common pain reliever in many medicines, even for children. These drugs are unharmful and unrelevant.

Fingerprints

Fingerprints on the bat indicate to be Marcel's. The loop formation both matches bat and Marcel. The bat could be belonging to marcel himself.

The body of Marcel has a large blunt force bloodied wound. A spatter of blood was a little ways from him with a bat stained in blood as well. On the car, blood is also seen.

Fri 11:35 AM: Marcel texts his roommate about Aiden, who was reported to be going through their home. Marcel's roommate dislikes Aiden

Friday 2PM: Marcel texts Jenn because she stole and wrecked his car

Friday 3:33 PM: Aiden texts Marcel he is coming over to his house (important)

4:30 PM Saturday: Naomi the manager texts Marcel and marcel does not respond to the where are you you are late for work question. Marcel has been missing work for some reason.

12:00 PM Sunday: Cam asks where Marcel is, he is late for work.

1:30 PM Sunday: Marcell's Manager calls the cops to conduct a wellness check

Brain Histology

Brain imaging shows a large sign of recently getting a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). The large gash observed is the cause. MRI with a large spot of degenerated brain tissue is present. Cross section also shows darkened brain spot indicating injury.

Red blood cells are present leading to the conclusion that Marcel has suffered from a TBI.

This blue bottle fly maggot is about 2-3 days old and was found on Marcel Newgard. Although his body was found on Sunday, we can conclude he most likely died on Friday.

Case Summary and Police Recommendations

Marcel was absent from work for the entire weekend. His boss noted this unusual behavior and contact the local police department to conduct a wellness check. When they arrived on scene Marcel Newgard was found sprawled out, face done, bloodied on the head with a bloody baseball bat inches from his body. Two chairs propped up indicating two people were hanging out in the garage prior to his death. Likely Aidan Santori and Newgard himself. Polygraph tests have led to believe that Santori is the killer as his tests showed high elevation of respiratory and heart rate when asked about Marcel's death. Other suspects also found Santori quite unlikeable, such as Newgard's roommate. Aiden last texted Marcel that he is coming to his house on saturday and that is the last we've heard of Marcel's texts since. Marcel had a large spot of brain damage as well as an opened wound on his head likely caused by the baseball bat on scene. Mechanism was a TBI, Manner was Homicide, and Cause was death from TBI from a homicidal man with a baseball bat.

Further Investigation on Aiden Santori should be conducted to further prove him guilty. Maybe investigate his home and his phone. The police should frequently take him in to interrogation and find more evidence.
