idea 3 - a group of people try to play music together but face difficulties.
we chose the second idea because it had the most plot and we can use stock characters easier.
2. Dramatic actions. We chose this to add humour to the performance. Stock characters. We chose to add this in order to create interest in the performance and a relatable set up that the audience has already seen.

It is essential for drama.
contrast is when aspects of the drama are differing from each other, often in succession.
climax is the most exciting part of the drama in which everything has reached its highest point.
sound can be used as music to convey the mood of the scene and the emotions of the characters, as well as diegetic sound that does the same thing.
space is the use of the space of the drama and how it is utilised. This can be practical or symbolic.
mood is the overarching emotion of the scene that impacts the way the audience feels about the piece.
rhythm is the pace of the drama. This is how fast it moves and also the timing of it.
tension is often built up with the anticipation of the climax.
2. I used conflict as the point in which the two characters who were having an argument started to insult the other and even result to violence. This was conflict because it was the clash between the 2 characters.
3. The elements affected the entire piece because we based our entire performance off of them. The climax was when the violence and anger reached its highest point. The space was used as a metaphor for the kingdom. The tension was built up as the argument got more and more intense. The rhythm was used with our iambic pentameter for speech.

I am proud of the work my group achieved, for sure. I believe we were able to write a performance that was directly related to the stimulus. I also think that we were able to work really well together and our performance benefited from this. However, I think that as a whole, the group could have rehearsed a bit more especially seeing we had extra time so that we could enhance our expressive skills.
2. I think the most interesting scene was the opening scene. This is because it set up the concept of the performance and also was the concrete for the character arcs in the performance. Also, I think expressive skills of everyone were at their best in this part of the performance.
3. We used conflict, tension and climax throughout the piece.
4. Conflict was used during the scene in which the protestors fought with the policemen, and this was utilised to demonstrate the seriousness of the issue at hand.
5. I believe that I was able to use dramatic facial movements to add more realism to the entire piece, rather than only during segments of the piece. I am proud of this achievement, and hope I will carry it on throughout the next semester of drama.
6. I found it difficult to perform in front of people who I am not really acquainted with, but I overcame this by focusing on the performance and pretending the audience wasn't there, and I will continue this in term 4 so as to get over this discomfort. 
7. I will continue to use this technique in term 4 so that I can continue to do my best in front of an audience.
