So I believe this will effect the placement and how the student learns. For growth I feel that no matter where the student is, he or she will grow academically based on his or her teacher. I believe that all children can make a years worth (or more) of growth when provided with effective instruction. IQ does not always correlate with ability to learn.

IQ can help an instructor understand the level of skills to teach the student, but does not determine what they will learn.
