Keep your arms extended but not locked. </p><p><br/></p><p>End with the resistance near your opposite hip, torso rotated, and hips fully turned. The hoop is positioned at eye level and has object symbols at 5 degree intervals in the inner hoop. Subject performs full active trunk and neck rotation. At the end of rotation, subject identifies the furthest object visible on the hoop. If the object is not identified correctly, subject will identify the next closest visible object. </p><p><strong>Measurement Properties</strong>: FAR(physical)-maximum angle of rotation</p><p>FAR(visual acuity)-maximum angle of visual acuity based on object identification</p><p><strong>Normative Values: </strong></p><p>Males-117(14.2) degrees</p><p>Females-127.8(10.4)degrees</p><p><br/></p><p> </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Type:</strong> Physical Performance Measure<br></p><p><strong>Purpose:</strong> To assess hamstring and lower back (trunk) flexibility, which directly impacts trunk flexion during batting.<br></p><p><strong>Target Population:</strong> Athletes, especially in sports requiring rotational trunk movement <br></p><p><strong>Procedure:</strong></p><ul><li><p>The participant sits on the floor with legs extended and reaches forward as far as possible along a measuring line.</p></li><li><p>The modified version allows for back and knee support to isolate trunk movement more clearly.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Measurement Properties:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>MDC:</strong> 2 cm</p></li><li><p><strong>MCID:</strong> Not well-established but generally considered meaningful if more than 5% improvement from baseline in athletic populations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Normative Values:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Male athletes: 15–20 inches</p></li><li><p>Female athletes: 17–21 inches</p></li><li><p>Below 10 inches may indicate restricted trunk or hamstring flexibility.</p></li></ul></li></ul><p><br/></p>]]></description>
