The words in a gospel song and the words in the words in the blues will be different, but both can make you start moaning like you've just bitten into the best fried chicken anybody ever made<br>4. If anyone give you blues it was slavery<br>5. They had a beat powerful beat<br><br>Fact:<br>1. Slavery ended in 1985<br>2. Mahalia Jackson sang church songs, gospel but she knew blues and brought blues feeling into church music<br>3. Mahalia grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana <br>4. Mahalia grew up loving music, and the person she wanted to sing like was none other thank Bessie Smith<br>5.
