I adore the simplistic nature of this piece; just blue, red, yellow, black and white squares arranged in unsymmetrical, grid-like pattern. It demonstrates the relationship between colours perfectly, showing how the three primary colours look when placed together. The piece reminds me the walls in a Primary School due to the primary colours used and the uneven, grid pattern. I would like to see different shades of the colours used, as I'd like to see what this piece would look like with colours that are darker or brighter.

Mondrian used some simple geometric shapes in an organic, irregular arrangement. In terms of colours, primary colours were used as well as black and white.
