Performance enhancers are produced or bought on the black market and administered in a clandestine, uncontrolled way with no monitoring of the athlete's health. Allowing the use of performance enhancers would make sport safer as there would be less pressure on athletes to take unsafe enhancers and a pressure to develop new safe performance enhancers and to make existing enhancers more effective at safe dosages.

According to the text… “Fourth grade students who did no homework got roughly the same score on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) math exam as those who did 30 minutes of homework a night.” This explains that students are wasting their time of doing homework and even more there grades are dropping. Another example from the text is… “We want them to enjoy their families. We want them to go to soccer practice or football practice, and we want them to go to bed. And that’s it.” This demonstrates that after school kids go right to practice and stay for an hour and a half and they have to stay up late instead of just going to bed.
