Good morning, my name is Eddy Diaz Perez, I am a boy born in Havana and spent most of my childhood in this, I came to this country with many ambitions and with the clear idea of progressing in life, especially in a particular career as it is engineering, right now I am working in a repair shop of household appliances and at the same time studying for my career, I am someone simple who likes many sports especially soccer and share time with my friends. In this country I learned that family is the most important thing, since I have mine far away in Cuba and I miss it very much, for me success is to achieve everything you set out and you dedicate yourself to what you like and in the future I see myself with much success because I fight for what I want every day, in a not very long future I see myself in the city of Los Angeles and with the job of my dreams that would be to be the owner of an AC company and that I am very proud.

CER Includes assertions, proofs and reasoning. These three topics are linked by curiosity. Assertions, proofs, and arguments are different aspects of questions and conclusions that revolve around curiosity, which is essential in science for scientific investigation and interpretation. The use of claims, evidence, and arguments not only helps develop conclusions for an investigation, but also enhances scientific arguments. CER This helps determine how to format conclusions from experiments and observations. This can be done by stating how the claim and evidence support or do not support the claim and explaining it with arguments. In other words, is there evidence to support the claim and reasons to support the claim? This format can also be used in everyday life when dealing with statements made in the news or by friends and family. Instead of believing everything others say, look for the reasons behind the claims and the truth behind the accusations.

It is interesting to think that at some point covid could disappear, as viruses never disappear, they are only endemic, which means that the infection is still present in a region or population, but its behavior is predictable and the number of cases and deaths no longer skyrockets. Learning to live with a virus is a key characteristic of an endemic virus; think of the flu or even the common cold, it does not mean that the pandemic has disappeared, it just means it has a short attention span, and a complete and utter lack of self-control will probably never go away, but it may be something we can manage in the future, either by research or by our own knowledge, we also have to keep in mind that we must preserve a better world for our future generations, and the more infmoracion we leave them on how to fight viruses will be a better future for all our children and family members.

Fenced lizards occupy a variety of habitats, but are most common in relatively dry, open pine and hardwood forests. They avoid very moist or heavily shaded habitats. They are very arboreal and are often found on or near structures such as trees, logs, stumps, rocky outcrops, buildings, and rock piles or brush. They are found along forest edges, rock piles, and rotting logs or stumps in the eastern United States.

Great video. I think this is how the wave function collapses in physics. You start with a probability wave which is made up of e.g. a photon in a variety of different possible places e.g 30% likely to be here, 30% likely to be there 30% likely to be over there etc & then you measure where the particle is which SOMEHOW (noone knows how) 'collapses' the wave function so that the photon's location is 100% likely to be in 1 place. I think there's feedback between the measurement & the wave that rapidly amplifies the probability

Why you selected the species (you selected)? How will it be impacted by climate change?

I chose the Eastern fence lizard because I find it to be a very cute animal that can grow from 4.0 to 7.5 inches in total length. It is usually colored in shades of gray or brown, and has keeled scales , with a dark line running along the back of the thigh. A female is usually gray and has a series of dark, wavy lines on the back. The belly is white with black speckles, with some pale blue on the throat and belly. The male is usually brown and during the summer has more blue-green and black coloration on the sides of the belly and throat than the female. The young resemble the females, but are darker and duller. Lizards are ectotherms, cold-blooded animals that are not capable of generating their own internal heat, as are other reptiles, amphibians and most insects. This condition makes them more sensitive to changes in environmental conditions, especially in tropical environments due to their lower physiological tolerance to extreme and changing temperatures. Although climate change has a global effect on biodiversity, the vulnerability of each species varies depending on its physiology, behavior, morphology and geographic location.

Land lizards evolved to have long legs and branch lizards evolved to have short legs that make their lifestyles possible. Next, we compared the ability of two species to climb slippery leaf surfaces. Side-blotched lizards in most of the Mojave Desert in the United States have brown and tan markings that blend well with the desert environment. However, in the lava flow of Pisgah Crater, a volcanic cinder cone within the Mojave Desert itself, a very different population of side-blotched lizards is found, as black as the rocks they live on, side-spotted lizards everywhere, even in another lava flow, and these genetic variants are only found in Pisgah, so we know that's where they arose. Pisgah lizards have the best match to lava color of any population, yet they can still return to the sand and match a completely different background.
