She is becoming a little more confidant in herself which is shown in the way she started a blog for the real Khalil. She is slowly showing her real self no longer split. This is shown when she tells her boyfriend she knew Khalil. Last but not least Starr is being brave by showing her dad she is dating Chris her white boyfriend. The current conflict though is that Starrs parents are fighting on where they should live and there is some very violent and serious protesting on.
