I’m a college student that’s also working so with that being said, my replies won’t always be fast! I can go from doing multiple replies one day to none depending on how busy I am. for all of youngjae’s life, all he could remember was to never get his hopes up. life was never promised to anyone and people were never promised happiness. life is and was full of broken promises and disappointment for the young male. as young as three, youngjae was placed into an orphanage. his birth parents were neglectful and simply didn’t care about the boy. so that had been the beginning of multiple families and multiple drop offs. he was constantly placed in families where he would be promised a forever home until he was then placed back into an orphanage yet again. with constant disappointment and broken dreams, youngjae had started to form a hard outer shell while his heart would break more and more. the boy had become a mess, keeping himself reserved in front of others while spending his nights crying into his pillow. nights of crying were soon going to fade away as a couple from a small town came to adopt him, open arms and smiles on their faces while youngjae stared at them with no hope.

quickly on youngjae realized this family was different. they didn’t yell at him for simple mistakes, they didn’t make him feel dumb for not knowing everything, and they made him feel actually wanted for once in his life. they treated him like their own son and he.. treated them like his actual parents. soon enough the titles ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ were used while he in return was called ‘son’ and other words on endearment. his teenage years had gone by smoothly and happily, thankful everyday to have been brought into such a loving and caring family. and then in his junior year of high school he was given a sister. she was only a baby, but she right away was attached to the male, constantly smiling whenever he would hold her. and he loved her just as much, constantly caring for her and watching over her. they had become a happy family, a family that loved and respected one another. that however would end soon.. it was a Friday night, the night of youngjae’s high school graduation. his parents wanted to go grab him a cake and left his sister with him while they drove off. that was the last time he got to see them, hearing only from the police later that night to tell him to go to the hospital. he rushed out, carrying his sister with him as they made their way to the hospital only to be met with a sorrowful doctor informing hi, of the tragic news. that night, while his parents went to grab him a celebratory cake, they had gotten into an accident and died at the hospital due to too much blood loss.

with so many emotions and troubles crashing over him, youngjae on,y had one priority left: protect his sister. he had been left with money in his parents wills, enough to keep him living in an apartment, going to college, and to provide them with necessities. even with the money slowly decreasing, he wasn’t too worried. he was almost done with college and then he could do actual work that wouldn’t leave him worried about supporting him and minji. the only problem is current time status. youngjae could see how they were slowly starting to struggle, their fun outgoing becoming less and less and their groceries becoming smaller. things were starting to get rough and youngjae knew he’d have to step up his job interview game soon. he was enrolling his sister into kindergarten and going to college while also going to job interviews. he was stressed and worried, but with his sister hugging him and telling him ‘I love you’ every night he knew he’d get everything in order.. no matter what he had to do.
