    • ثانيًا، بالنسبة للجدل حول تسمية الشكل (2)، فكرة كريم بأن الشكل هو مربع صحيحة بالفعل، حيث أنه يمتلك الخصائص الأساسية للمربع، وهي جميع الأضلاع متساوية الطول وكل الزوايا قائمة الزاوية. ومن الناحية الفنية، يمكن للمربع أن ينظر إليه على أنه مستطيل بزوايا قائمة متساوية الطول.


    بالمقابل، فكرة هبة بأن كل مستطيل مربع غير صحيحة. على الرغم من أن جميع الأضلاع في المربع متساوية الطول وجميع الزوايا قائمة الزاوية، فإن المستطيل لديه زوج من الأضلاع طولها مختلف، بينما المربع لديه جميع الأضلاع متساوية الطول.
