I feel that the color scheme is very Indonesian. The colors used show a very earthy tone of colors which is often used in Indonesian design. Also, the ornaments in the corner frames are often seen as decoratives in Indonesian traditional design as well, so I think it was nice to use that. 

The color of the skin appears rather 'dusty' (in a good way) giving it a texture of old paper/traditional feel.

The font used resembles Batik designs as well.
