These characters are all in a bad situation, because they must leave their country because they are missing home, or food, etc.... they are different because although they are in difficult situations, they are also in different situations, example Mahmoud has to leave because their house was bombed, they don’t have anything left, and if they continues to live in Syria, there is quite a chance they will die, and like Isabel from Cuba, they have to leave because her mom was pragnant and Syria was missing food, the mother did not have enough energy to give to the baby, so they are trying to find food someplace else.

The situation of all the charaters are all the same because they're all trying to flee there homes with there families, and there home is being attacked by people who think they should make others be like them. They are also different because each one of them have a different cultural backround because Izabel is Cuban, Josef is German but Jew and Mahmoud is Syrian.

All of the characters situations have certain things in common, like the fact they are all refugees fleeing from their homeland to be safe so they can have a better life.They all have people to rely on like family. They all also have things different about eachother like how they are going to different countries and that they all have different personalities and they all have different way some with dealing with things.

The characters are all in situations that are in real life. Josif was in world war 2, Isabel was in Havana Cuba when rites broke out and people staved to death, most of Cuba was in havoc, and Machmod is in a time when Syria is in war and bombs are going of everywhere. They are different in the fact that even though that they are in real life situations they are in different timelines.

The situations all the characters are in are all similar because, they are all trying to flee their country/home to escape from the war that is happening where they are and the situations are somewhat different also because, the characters all have different sized families, some of the families are a big bunch and it would be a little more challenging to get to their destination without any problems such as feeding all the members in the family and not getting dehydrated. Some families have a small bunch which would make it a bit more easier to not get the problems the big families get like problems with hunger and dehydration.

Josef taught me to open my eyes and notice what’s going on in the world. Hes also taught me to accept the world and how it works as well as to accept myself and to stay calm throughout any situation even if’s it is life changing. Isabelle taught me that even if you don't have everything, family is more important then a home. You might feel scared or in danger Isabelle taught me that even if you feel scared, your family will always be there. And every choices you make in life , it'll affect your actions and also your family. I pick Josef and Mahmoud because Josef taught me that sometimes you have to step up and be the responsible one. Mahmoud taught me that in some times, you should try to blend in to the environment, and do whatever it takes to survive. The entire story has taught me that maybe
people arent as lucky ass we are and that we should be grateful for what we have.

I chose Josef, because.. every choice has their own reasons for " right " and " wrong ".
It was wrong of those two petite girls to mess with the bathrooms.
Josef should've stopped them but of course it would've caused a commotion.
He hesitates to make choices like me.
He taught me to cherish every moment I can, but.. to also be aware.
It's pretty odd that they would just let the Jews in.
