And while many people say they are not religious anymore it is reported that ¨Among the non-religious, personal crisis and desperation tends to be what prompts most people to pray with 24 percent of respondents saying it was a last resort¨ (A fifth of non-believers turn to prayer in a crisis or out of habit, Caroline Mortimer). Although some people say they are not religious they still fall back to a greater power to help them through a time when they are struggling. We don't realize that we work to survive everyday and that our mind gets in a mindset that it is normal but our body is surviving everyday.

He has faith in himself that he can take on the challenges and help the son through them. He survives for his son and he overcomes great obstacles to keep them alive. And that is what it takes to keep surviving is to have faith that you will make it through the tough times because if the father would have gave in earlier I believe that his son would not survived either.
