         <description><![CDATA[<div>We believe Dr. Schrier could win the election because of the blue wave that may take place in the house since Republicans have the majority in the Senate and the president is a Republican. </div><div><br></div><ul><li>"Although retiring incumbent David Reichert (R) won re-election in 2016 by 20 percentage points, the district backed the Democratic nominee in the past three presidential elections by two to five percentage points." (Ballotpedia).</li><li>The district is one of 26 Republican held congressional seats that voted for Hillary Clinton (D) in 2016 (Ballotpedia).</li></ul><div>However... </div><div>Rossi won the primaries 43.1 percent meaning he was heavily favored by Republicans. Democratic votes were more spread out, no matter what Schrier still only received 18.7 percent of votes in the primaries. <br><br></div><div>Incumbent David Reichert (R )held the house seat for thirteen years and the constituents may want to see a change from a Republican legislator to one that is Democratic. </div>]]></description>
