         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>~Taken</strong> to jail and was under house arrest for life after saying that the Earth went around the Sun, and that not everything went around the Earth, also known as the Copernican System. <br><strong>~Galileo</strong> wanted to and enrolled into a medical degree at the University of Pisa, but didn't finish it, choosing to study mathematics.<br><strong>~He </strong>didn't believe in Kepler's theory that the Moon caused tides. He thought that the Earth's rotation was responsible.</div>]]></description>
