I would sign the Mayflower Compact because before the contract was signed a lot of fighting was happening about not going to the Hudson River and having to go to Cape Cod and signing this would stop the fuss. Another reason I would sign the compact is we can have as much land as we want and make our own laws and live how we want to live. Lastly if we sign the immigrants could be part of our group.

I would sign the agreement because it brought everyone together and teamwork is better than working alone. Some people have skills you don’t have and some can’t do things you can. Also, if one idea isn’t working, you can get other ideas and not have to fight about property and food.

I would agree to sign the contract! I would do this because there is so much good stuff will come if you sigh it. Another reason that you should sign is because if you agree then it would be a safe community!!! So that is why I think you should sign the mayflower contract!!

I would sign the Mayflower compact because I don’t want to wake up knowing that there is trouble outside. Another reason is would it be so cool for me because I’m agreeing something that everybody is agreeing to and sometimes people don’t agree with me.

I would not sign the agreement because there could be war, violence and I might have the chance of not having any land whatsoever.However if I did I would have land and there wouldn't be any war or violence.

I would sign the Mayflower compact for many reasons one of my reasons why I would sign the Mayflower compact is because it is almost always better to work together as one then all separate apart. When everyone is trying to survive it is easier to work together so everyone can help everyone. For Example one person can sew clothes when another can plant food and take care of crops. Another reason why I would sign the Mayflower compact is because the land that we would be going to would be a much more peaceful and safe place to live. For example you would not have to fight or kill to claim land they would just claim it as one.

If I would be on the Mayflower I would sign the Mayflower Compact. I would signed it because everything would be easier because many people have an agreement. Another reason why I would like to sign the Mayflower Compact because then nobody could claim land like crazy and people would live in peace. Last reason why I would like to sign the Mayflower Compact is because then there will be a big community.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because I would want to have a say in whether or not people will
stay together and not spread out and go their separate ways. Also, I would sign it because when people
split up, they can be easily attacked by the Native Americans that already lived their. Another reason why
I would want to sign it and why I would want for all the colonists coming there to sign it to, is because if
someone gets really, really sick, other people will help you get better and they might care for you too. On
the other hand, if everybody split up, if one individual person got sick, they wouldn’t have anybody to
care for them and protect them maybe when the Native Americans might try attacking. The last reason I
would sign it is because I would be kind of famous-ish sort of.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because if people were apart from each other then in cases where someone is attacked and they are alone then they will die. If they were alone they could not reproduce.

In my opinion I would want to sign the compact. One example why I would want to sign the compact is if
I signed it every one wouldn’t fight when we arrived to the island. Another reason is that if I signed it they
could be peace. Also people can work together and help each other with building houses, gathering
resources, water and food. Finally I would sign it because I don’t want war to brake out and chaos.

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because if I wouldn’t then the fight would keep going and when
you would get to the land then you would have a half of the land and the other would have the other half
and then if you go to the other half that you don’t own and someone catches you then the fight would of
still be going but since they agreed to sign it they stoped arguing and they lived with peace.

I would sign the mayflower compact. One reason why I would sign the mayflower compact is because
there is safety in numbers like if someone needs a house built and all the people on the mayflower split up
it would probably take pretty long for someone to build a house with maybe only three people. But if they
all stick together the would take a lot shorter.

In my opinion I would like it if not only me but every one one ship signed the mayflower compact because at the time everyone was arguing about them going to Plymouth because they were so post to go to the Hudson and if something didn’t change people would have started rioting and soon somebody would get hurt or worse died. Another reason why I would have signed the mayflower compact is because when we get to Plymouth we would all work to gether to survive sense nobody really even lived there at the time

I would sign the Mayflower Compact because then I wouldn’t be alone. For example, if I didn’t sign the compact I would have to find my own land. If I find my own land there is less space for farms and other things. It’s also it’s just my family, so there’s less people to gather materials, food, and create shelter. If I happen to come across other people (most likely people who are apart of a bigger community) while I’m finding land or something we would probably fight over it. So that is why I think I should sign the Mayflower Compact.

I would want to sign the mayflower compact because I would want peace. For example I would not want to wake up every day thinking someone is going to kill you. Also it would be a friendly community.
