What reason does Ralph give for continuing on alone to seek out the beast?
Even the sounds of nightmare from the other shelters no longer reached him, for he was back to where came from, feeding the ponies with sugar over the garden wall.

I'm thinking about using Ralph s commitment to his father in my writing .

The reason why I started to write about Ralph is that he has always been the main character and his relationship with Jack and Jack s relationship with Piggy interests me and seems as an important event.
