Health/P.E. Content

• GimKit may be hard to use in P.E. specific classes, except for rules and regulations of sports/activities. However, for a health-related classroom this could be great. Health can be challenging learning all the different systems, how they work, and how it effects day to day life. Having a fun way to get students, especially younger students engaged in their own health and topics of health through a game can improve their learning and depth in their school and everyday lives.

• This can be used to post any intermural events that the school can hold. It can take place after school or during lunch. It gives students the chance to participate and learn through competition. With obvious rules to make it for everyone, it can be easy to connect what is being taught in the classroom and the event itself. It can also be used for school events outside of sports or P.E., but music events, service opportunities, award services, and anything that you can invite students to. Students can register themselves or a staff member can as well.

In a Health classroom

• This is a nice simple way to share information, especially with so many different points of information in health. Including anatomy, nutrients, biology and biomechanics there is a lot of information included and is nice to send out information. It also allows for assignments to be pre-assigned and easy to keep track of. The connection to other google tools allows for easy conversion between devices and information being used.

• In P.E. this website can be extremely useful since a huge part of grading is observation, having the eggs that can grade the students' strengths is a good way to keep track of the grades or points. It also allows the parents to know if their child is not coming dressed to class properly or missing the proper attire. It also allows for events, specifically sport and class related events, to the families.

Health/P.E. content

• In a health classroom, visuals are greatly recommended since the body and the tiny things that make it up are so intertwined, that having a visual to separate systems and show parts of a cell and what those parts do is important. This allows the students to be able to have a say in the way that they would like to do assessments and in different ways, while also showing me what they learned. In a gym or P.E. setting presentation is used only slightly, but a way to get around that is through ideas. A student might want to try a game you never have heard pf before. Instead of doing all the research on your own, have the students create a Canva presentation to show you, so you have a start of an understanding and so the students can learn little details that they may have missed previously.

In a P.E./Health classroom

• In a health classroom Book Creator can be effective in taking a specific system of the body or nutrients needed by the person and breaking it down even more. Students can take those systems and then choose a particular organ of the system and break down what it does and how it helps. They can choose to make a traditional story for the project or make it into a web chain throughout the pages. They can make comics and do other things that give information in a form of a book. In the P.E. classroom it may be slightly harder to use, but you can have students use it to present to you that they have learned. They can use the book to show you the form and technique they learned, to make a game themselves and explain the rules, or look up a game and explain the rules of that game. It is an effective way to bring tech into the classroom that is primarily activity and hands on, while also have the students explore and have small inputs into the classroom.

• I would use this in a health classroom specifically. I could use this really well with students interacting through looking at moveable 3D models and using the interface to get info on those specific parts, along with connect them together and how the body works together. I will also use it to target specific parts of the body that we are going over and incorporate the models into the lesson so students can have an interactive part of lecture and be able to answer to do self-exploration on the lesson.

• I would use pear deck in multiple settings in my classroom. Through P.E. I would use it to hold lessons that students can watch videos on form of certain movements and information like rules and boundaries for upcoming lesson and units we will be practicing. I could also then use it to take quizzes on the rules and regulations and also get feedback from students on what they think. In health I would use it all and organize lessons, assessments, and get feedback on more than quizzes like projects or lesson included pear deck.

• I would use this website to track younger student classrooms to be able to mark their progress through assignments. I understand when students get nervous to ask questions in front of class, and in a classroom like health where somethings might be harder to pick up or, depending on students age, weird to talk about, being able to ask questions anonymously is nice so the student can get the knowledge and not be nervous or scared to ask questions. Also being able to track your students' progress is a nice way to make sure that they are staying engaged in the assignment and being able to address concerns in the moment.

• I would use this across all areas I would teach and even in coaching. Such as in P.E. I would use it to help give me ideas for lessons or maybe ask for a unique way to twist a game but still make it a learning opportunity. In health I would use it to give assignments to students but also let them use some of the AI depending on what they are doing, along with get ideas for the class similar to P.E... I could even use it for coaching and have people ask questions about events and information revolving around sports and conducts for people to be able to ask the question into PowerBuddy.

• I would use this in all classes as well. In P.E. the exit tickets would be a nice way for me to get feedback from students to see if they learned anything or had fun and see if I may need to change my lesson to fit their needs a bit better. Great way to grab feedback that may be hard to get originally. For health I would use the instant questions and the quiz section of the app. Being able to ask those questions to see if students may need a revisit to information and use the quizzes to be able to grade fast and efficiently for quicker feedback to students.

• I would use this in my health class though visual representation. I would want students to create a storybird going over a subject we covered on the human body and tie it into a story or why it is important. This can be through a group project or solo and will be based on presentation, information, and flow of the story. The student's job would be to provide relevant information.

• This is an interesting way to change the type of assessment student's use. It allows them to be able to make a product in groups that can be shared with you as the teacher but also be posted and shared with others in the school, but also throughout the world and is a way to reach that R in SAMR. In a health class I would use it to have students talk about it in some way involving health, specifically nutrition and then have me give information learned and researched in and out of class, along with personal take aways from the information they gathered. Students can also share personal feeling towards certain food trends and other diets that may come up to see where they sit on it.

• I would use this website for health class and maybe even a lifting class depending on the direction of the class. Students can choose a certain muscle group that they like and then do research and present it to class. They will explain the importance of the muscle is, what it helps the body do, and if it is used often. It is a great way to go over other units and lessons given and can range from a small, short solo project to a larger group project if needed.

• This is a great tracking app that can help students track their habits throughout the day and grow/learn skills and knowledge that is important throughout their life. It is a great entrance level app for everyone and can help keep students excited and engaged in the class throughout the year. It can also be used well in health class with the diets and tracking what you eat in a day.

• This is a great way to get younger students engaged in a dance unit. The app can be put on through a screen or projector and students can dance to music that they enjoy. This is a great tool that I would use for student's 4th grade and below to help get them in the groove of the lesson as a student may like or dislike dancing.

• The only thing that I would use in this website is the heart rate tracker and the feedback that the students can use. This can help motivate students to keep track of their progress and have the support of the app through the feedback given. I would have them give me the feedback received as well and add on or monitor it.

• I will use Magic School AI in my health class. I already made AI chat bot in a practice class and it worked very well. It gave me information I wanted and kept me on task if I tried to stray from it. It is a great way to guide the wavy line of use of Ai in a good way that can hopefully reassure other teachers, students, and parents involved.

• I would recommend and use Grammarly in my classroom. I believe that it is another safe AI tool that can be used and downloaded easily with little risk involved. It can help students get better information through their assessments and make their and the teacher's lives a little easier when creating or writing a paper.
