         <title>Positive Rewards</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Positive rewards are giving for each class individually and the school when their pom pom jars are filled. Students set the reward for each time they fill the jars. 3 pom poms means the class was class was outstanding. 2 pom poms means the class was&nbsp; good but had a couple of lack in judgement or behavior. 1 pom pom means the class did not follwo directions, were no on their best behavior and could do better. Classes can also earn pom poms in transitions, specials, and recess. Once the school pom pom jar is filled then an assembly or a school wide celebration will take place to reward the students for an awesome job.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Bullying prevention</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Students are educated on what bullying is and what it can do to a child. They are presented with the rules and norms of if could bullying what the consequences are. Students are encouragaed to speak with their teacher or guidance counselor if they are being bullied or witness it. Each semester students draw no bullying pictures and discuss how being bullied can affect students.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Our schools should be the safest place for students to be. Schools need to be physically and emotional safe learning environment for students to learn and take risks. These are the lessons students can use to be successful to help them grow into successful community members.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Giving the pom poms value with excitement</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teachers and students show excitement when they earn the pom poms they are supposed to or an extra one during transitions. This makes they students excited and shows a sense of accomplishment and positivity. This creates that positive school connectedness that we all want in our schools.</div>]]></description>

         <title>School Climate Survey</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A school climate survey will be sent to all teachers, parents, and students to gauge how the school's climate is viewed from other vested parties.&nbsp; There will be options on what is going well and what can be improved upon. This will allow everyone to have a voice as they are apart of this community as well. The  results of the school climate will also show how successful of a school culture we have as well. Both of these should go hand in hand in a successful school.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The pom pom program will help teach students the behaviors of which is expected at our school. This will will build student and staff culture to show students how we all can work together to be successful. In this climate and culture there will be no racial insensitivity or profiling based on the way a student looks or their beliefs. Our goal is to build the best inclusive academic environment for our students to feel safe and be willing to to take risks  with the potential of failure. When they do fail we as a community are their to pick them up and help them try again to be successful.</div>]]></description>
