The positive side would be that people may choose insecure work to spend more time raising children and with family, on the other hand, the decrease of full-time employment, could be that employers do not want to pay money for holiday or sick leave. Insecure work has its advantages, but by definition it is easier to exploit. Because of the flexibility of these jobs, they become harder to manage. They are less consistent for those who are employed, but they still need to exist. Insecure jobs gain the greatest security by being in demand, so by having less, the jobs they can get, come to them more often. We definitely cannot have a world with only casual workers, take a classroom for example; you get a casual teacher and you see a 'certain group" to the entire class, just refusing to do work, because from their point of view, the teacher doesn't know then, and won't see them often enough, to feel like they need to be on said teachers good side. This can be further demonstrated by a metaphor involving the minecraft chicken; where of all the passive minecraft mobs, it has the smallest food gain, and the lowest saturation. The Advantage of the chicken, is that it is small, can be used to make automatic farms, making it great as an emergency food source, in case the main supply is unable to function. This is similar to the flexibility of insecure workers, who are able to fill in for emergencies, such as when people call in sick.
